Dear Student:

Credit for Learning (CFL) at the UK College of Social Work is pleased to offer graduate education to Kentucky’s child welfare professionals.  Through the completion of graduate level social work courses and individualized support, we are thankful for the opportunity to assist your efforts as you work to help children and families achieve safety, permanency, and well-being.

Whether you are a new child welfare professional enrolled in the Protection & Permanency Academy, a tenured worker considering more advanced courses in child welfare, or you are considering the Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, our dedicated CFL faculty are ready to provide guidance and answer questions.  CFL faculty/campus coordinators are located on the main Lexington campus as well as the Hazard/Prestonsburg and Morehead/Ashland campuses.

If you are currently a Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) child welfare professional and are ready to learn more about the UK MSW degree we encourage you to:

  • Register and participate in one of the UK MSW Virtual Information Sessions scheduled for 2016 and early 2017
  • Contact our faculty to schedule a time to meet face to face or talk by phone to learn more about the program
